The following descriptions of our present volunteer positions are meant as a mere starting point, as successful applicants will be expected to further develop their respective positions as their efforts contribute to Un Mundo´s evolution within its mission.  Volunteer Positions in Honduras

On-Site Facilitators Un Mundo is looking for mature, outgoing, dedicated individuals to work on a long-term basis in a challenging position directly with small rural communities. This job is not for everyone, but a once-in-a-lifetime experience for the right person. Ideal candidates would be in a position to spend at least two years living in their community and able to make at least several annual visits afterwards. This is a peace-corps style position, and candidate selection will be rigorous. Duties will run the gamut from institutional and grassroots fundraising, to community organizing, to project design and implementation, to helping to develop local leadership. Volunteer Positions in the US and Beyond

Fundraisers Un Mundo is looking for volunteers to fill three distinct positions on our fundraising team. We are looking for a grant writing coordinator to help identify funding sources and help develop grant proposals, a direct mailing coordinator to help develop and implement a direct mailing program, and an activities coordinator to help design and execute fundraising activities, such as banquets and concerts.

Data Management Help Un Mundo manage electronic donor and other data bases and records. Work remotely but as part of a team. Up to five hours a week commitment required.

Web Site Assistants Help Un Mundo keep its web page fresh and up to date. Work remotely but as part of a team. Up to five hours a week commitment required. Knowledge of PHP particularly helpful.

Translators Help Un Mundo translate documents from English to Spanish. Work remotely but as part of a team.
