2009Sculpture and Theater Workshop Currently under development.
2008Dancing as a Community Conducted a month-long movement and dance workshop with the purpose of uniting young people around a common cause and building self-esteem and respect for one another. Forty boys and girls ages 6-16 came together, exploring dance and rhythms from all over the world and learning how to express themselves through movement.
2008Census of the Senses Twelve students ages 13-16 investigated the community of El Pital through text, image and language. The project worked to reveal the hidden and layered feelings of the community that go unrevealed during an "official" census. The art was displayed in the schoolyard for the community to see and now hangs on the walls of the new high school as a reminder of the power of art and how it can unite a community.
2008HIV/AIDS Workshop United States-trained college students from the organization World Camp for Kids conducted three 4-hour workshops for 70 students ages 12-22 in the El Pital high school.

Community Baseline Survey Compiled a baseline evaluative survey to assess the existing conditions, needs, and assets of the seven aldeas that line the Cangrejal River Basin. In 2008, Un Mundo completed the survey in El Pital after interviewing all 77 households in the community. The data has been compiled and is currently being used to develop programs and projects in El Pital.
2008Experimental Book-Making In anticipation of the library, 60 youths of El Pital created and designed more than 100 of their own books to be displayed in the first community library, which is currently being constructed.

Instituto Elvira Pineda Madrid Del Pital Construction of the first public high school in El Pital, a multi-phase project.
2007Tirar y Sembrar Using a Frisbee-like object to distribute seeds, this project used metaphors through games to investigate environmental ecology. Forty students from El Pital studied the germination of indigenous plants and how to cultivate and spread plants for local uses.
2005Theater/Performance Workshop Provided a series of theatrical workshops to educate the community of El Pital on issues such as HIV/AIDS.
2005Environmental Quilt Facilitated environmental education art workshop, which generated a quilt about the environmental elements of El Pital.

Trash-Can Project Facilitated obtaining community trash cans and scheduling a weekly trash pick-up in El Pital.
2004Kinder Project Repaired the tap and latrine, painted a mural, and build flower beds, a slide, a swing, and a climbing frame for the Kindergarden in El Pital.
2003-2005Mural Campesino Mural program that raised awareness and encouraged unity and education. Through this program, which ran for three consecutive years, six murals were completed by 75 youth in four different communities through the Cangrejal Valley.
2003-2004La Muralla Latrine The very poor community of La Muralla had many compaints of stomach pains and diarrhea among children. Un Mundo found that the water was very contaminated and obtained a small donation so the community could build a latrine and a water pipe for the primary school.
2003Minke's Bus Donated a school bus to the new middle school in El Pital that carried 70 students from the lower communities of El Naranjo and Las Mangas. A huge mural project was coordinated to paint the entire bus in honor of Minke Zijlstra, who died shortly after visiting El Pital.
2003Las Mangas School Roof Facilitated the repair of the collapsing roof at the elementary school in Las Mangas.

Cine Campesino Film program included an annual festival that attracted over 1000 people each year. This program operated for three years in the Cuenca Cangrejal and then grew into a film festival that now travels all over Honduras.
2002-2005 Break the Cycle Scholarship program for all levels of education that allowed 20 students per year to receive financial assistance for their education. This program operated 2002-2005 and is in the process of being redesigned and reinstated again in 2010.

Juan Pablo Segundo Sewing Cooperative Facilitated a local women's group, called Juan Pablo II, to form a cooperative and develop and market appliquéd quilts and wall hangings. These goods depict everyday scenes and really capture the local flavor of rural Honduras. The group is now using the Internet to promote their quilts, and every cent paid to purchase one of their products goes directly to the members.
2000Computers for Education Donated eight computers and two printers to schools in El Pital, which were used by 270 students.
2000-ongoingHealth Care Professional Volunteer Program Coordinate visits from experienced volunteer doctors, nurses, and other healthcare workers.
1998-2000Escuela Alegre Volunteers taught English and literacy in the Cangrejal Valley.

Centro de Salud Health Center Established a community health center in El Pital that continues today to provide regular health care coverage for El Pital and surrounding areas.
1998Reforestation  Planted 6,000 saplings native to the Cangrejal Valley for environmental regeneration.
