Full Immersion/ Service Trip

Come to Honduras and get your hands dirty with Un Mundo! This trip is designed to give groups the opportunity to make a lasting difference in a rural Honduran community. Working alongside Un Mundo, you will witness a truly community-based devlopment model and participate in the implementation of our important projects. We'll round out your trip with jungle adventures, coral reef exploration and homestays in the local community.

This trip is geared toward groups who are committed to volunteering for the duration of their time abroad. Church groups, volunteer clubs and classes that require a service component are ideal.

Itinerary:

  • Arrive San Pedro Sula and enjoy a night in Tela  
  • Cangrejal Valley and stay in La Canasta B&B, Orientation to area, community welcome celebration
  • Work with local community in the Cangrejal Valley on an Un Mundo project for 3-5 days, home-stays and afternoon adventures in the jungle
  • Trip to Cayos Cuchionos for beach and diving on the second largest barrier reef
  • Stay a night in La Ceiba, the “Novia of Honduras,” the city that is known for its vibrant nightlife and Garifuna roots

Cost:  Please inquire. Cost will include all in-country fees such as lodging, food, transport, translation and excursions, as well as project costs, and will not include flights to Honduras, nor exit or entry fees.
